The Luling PD Honor Guard was established in November of 2006. The Honor Guard
is currently comprised of 4 dedicated officers. The Honor Guard is a voluntary assignment that includes no benefits, no extra
pay, and no overtime. The Officers who choose to be members of the Honor Guard do so out of respect for their fellow officers
and to Honor those who have come before us and our fallen brethern.
Although we are new, we have already presented the colors at the Luling High School
Homecoming Football Game. The Luling PD Honor Guard is currently training in various marches and ceremonies. As we progress,
we will be attending City events and Funerals for our brothers and sisters who have passed on.
